It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I really can't imagine anyone other than Tim Burton doing the movie.

The puppy, Norton, is doing fine. He's getting a bit chubby and I'm not sure I know why because I don't feed him much. Had his thyroid checked and it's okay. I guess he's just a portly pup! But he's the sweetest dog in the world and loves most of the other creatures he meets. Only exception is one dog in the neighborhood that none of the dogs like and the racoons that come to the back door at night.

I loved your polls today! Problem with polls is that I could easily pick more than one answer for both of them. Eagerly awaiting your stock photos and to see more of that beautiful body!

Now that you have a house, you need a puppy too!

I had a husky-shepard mix a while back and the hair was all over the place. They shed by the handful in spring and fall! Get a short haired dog, they don't like the cold so when you take them out in the winter, it's a quick walk!!

Boxers are great dogs. When I was a kid, my best friend had a boxer and I walked him more than he did because I couldn't have a dog. Best bet, get a rescue dog. They know they have been given a second chance and will love you for it.

As for the color of your skin, whatever color it is I'm sure will be great. You sent or posted a nude a while back that was one of my favorites. I just think whatever you do will be great! One thing, a lot of 'stock' photos of nudes have too much going on in the background. What could be a nice figure study can be complicated to manipulate because of the background. Best to keep it simple and focus should be on the figure. Just my two cents.

Are you attending the dA thing in NYC? Wish I could get up there but I have too much going on right now.

We are getting thunderstorms tonite here in DC too. I love thunderstorms, it shows the beautiful power of nature.

It was! I loved the way every scene was like a good painting, the composition of the sets and lighting was great too, so much atmosphere...Lol I am not a lover of musicals at all so nearly didn't watch it (even with the lure of Mr Depp) Glad I did though

This is going to be a fabulous movie I think. My daughter and I have been watching the progress for so long now. This picture is definitely amazing. Burton is a genius. It is so much fun to watch his movies with my daughter. I remember loving him when I was her age. Funny thing... I have like Johnny Depp since I was her age to. I cracked her friends up when they gave her a Jack Sparrow poster and I told them I had Johnny hanging on my wall when I was their age too. I think they were laughing with me and not at me, or at least laughing close to me
